This sounds like an application-specific problem, not a general problem,
so you should have specified which application is the problem. Maybe
also check whether printing works with other application.
I suppose you could also try something from another printing bug report
I got, install the "cupsys-bsd" package. I don't think it'd help with
previews, but with luck, perhaps it helps the actual printing.
