Hi folks,
since iceweasel 3.0b4 I also installed the iceweasel-gnome-support to
see the sweet GTK-icons.
Thus, I installed today both recently compiled packages "iceweasel"
and "iceweasel-gnome-support".
There is a conflict concerning "/usr/lib/iceweasel/components/libimgicon.so".
libimgicon.so component is included in both packages.
>From the ChangeLog iceweasel_3.0~b5-2:
[...]
* debian/rules: Install the libimgicon.so component in the regular
iceweasel package and not iceweasel-gnome-support. It's needed to
display the icons and doesn't actually depend on anything gnome
specific. (Closes: #474728)
[...]
Here is the output (please attend the note below):
$ sudo LANGUAGE=C dpkg -i iceweasel_3.0~b5-2~sd.1_i386.deb

Are you sure that iceweasel-gnome-support is no more needed or only in
the case you use GNOME?
In my itask-ng taskbar for Enlightenmnet DR17 window-manager I do NOT
see any iceweasel icon.
Cheers,
Sedat
