Dear team mates,

I have prepared a package for the djbfft library and just injected it into the unstable trunk in pkg-multimedia SVN. I have applied a (slightly modified) patch from Gentoo to build the shared library and chose the package version as a SONAME for the library (which may be changed to what you believe is appropriate, of course).

Please have a look at the package, review it and upload if appropriate. I have allready tried to build our a52dec package against the shared libdjbfft (--enable-djbfft) and it seems to work.

In this context, I'd like to have a new revision of a52dec uploaded to unstable with this additional library enabled. Do you consider this allright? There are also some other changes that I'd like to commit for the a52dec package, i.e. convert debian/rules to CDBS and make it lintian clean. Should I do this before or after we introduced the libdjbfft dependency - or in the same revision?

Cheers,
Fabian

PS: Not to forget, the djbfft build system is *insane*!
