Subject: im-switch: Does not configure scim to support current locale Package: im-switch Version: 1.16 Severity: normal Tags: patch
*** Please type your report below this line *** when I execute 'im-switch -z en_AU -s scim' as both root and normal user, the en_AU.UTF-8 locale is not added to /etc/scim/global like this: /SupportedUnicodeLocales = en_AU.UTF-8, en_US.UTF-8 instead it remains the default: /SupportedUnicodeLocales = en_US.UTF-8 This causes scim not to work in my default locale, which is what im-switch it supposed to configure the input method to do. Once I edit /etc/scim/global manually it works as expected. I think im-switch should do this automatically -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.24-1-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash im-switch depends on no packages.
