Subject: im-switch: Does not configure scim to support current locale
Package: im-switch
Version: 1.16
Severity: normal
Tags: patch

*** Please type your report below this line ***

when I execute 'im-switch -z en_AU -s scim' as both root and normal
user, the en_AU.UTF-8 locale is not added to /etc/scim/global like this:

/SupportedUnicodeLocales = en_AU.UTF-8, en_US.UTF-8

instead it remains the default:

/SupportedUnicodeLocales = en_US.UTF-8

This causes scim not to work in my default locale, which is what
im-switch it supposed to configure the input method to do.

Once I edit /etc/scim/global manually it works as expected. I think
im-switch should do this automatically
