Package: lm-sensors Version: 1:3.0.1-2 Severity: important /etc/init.d/fancontrol stop does not stop the fancontrol program. There is a problem with the logic calling start-stop-daemon. fancontrol being a shell program, using --exec $DAEMON will not do the right thing. This needs to be rethought somehow.
