I'm looking at bug #475727 that you submitted to Debian. I am really not sure what the bug you are reporting is... if the server refuses to store a message that OfflineIMAP sends to it, exiting with a detailed error is, to me, the correct behavior. OfflineIMAP cannot go mucking about with the contents of messages, either; that is not universally the right thing to do.
