Okay, the patch I sent to the mailing list earlier is now tested and checked in. However, there's a different problem: When dist-upgrading from etch to sid, I got an error because two packages contained supp-mis.tex, one of which was texlive-metapost. apt-get -f install did resolve the issue. I'm not sure whether this is a different bug which affects the dist-upgrade, or whether it is introduced by my fix, or whatever. I also have not checked whether it actually solves all the piupart issues (in fact, dpkg gives some "not a managed conffile" warnings). I think these two bugs should probably be again merged into one.
