Package: debconf Version: 1.5.22 Severity: normal Debconf goes into infinite loop and starts consuming all the cpu when selecting the "show a side-by-side difference between the versions" option from the locally modified configuration files dialog. This seems to happen with all frontends. Here's an example session with the readline frontend, interrupted by CTRL-C:
