Since sysv-rc is just a bunch of shell scripts, there's no way it can cause a segmentation violation. Something it is calling (a shell, or some utility from /bin or /usr/bin) is actually what is failing. Could be a local fs corruption problem. Or a sparc-specific problem. You need to find out what exactly is failing, and file a bug report against the appropriate package. There's nothing more I can say without seeing the entire bootlog (the lines before and after "Segmentation fault"). I'll close this report in a few days since it I don't think it has anything to do with sysv-rc. Mike. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
