Yes, that might be useful. > Also I like to see a better integration in an existing webserver which > mean, the CGI-Cripts installed directly into a subdirectory of apache. I will provide a template to setup an apache proxy to forward the requests to Pootle, and the Debian related steps to activate it. > I have 370 POT files but pootle refuse to import it which mean, I had to > rename all file to <package>.po and upload them file by file. I usually drop the files in /var/lib/pootle/<project> (then the hierarchy depends of the project) And then runs PootleServer --refreshstats[=DIRECTORIES] > Even if my own scripts does not have those nice statistics, the PHP5 > scripts are many times faster, I can upload the english (original) POT > file and can request a trnslation for any languages which is not posibel > in pootle. The intent of pootle and your script seems to be different (although I don't know what your scripts do). Pootle is a web interface for translators, to translate online. Its primary goal is not to be a repository of PO files. If you are just interested in a repository of PO files, I would suggest a file server. If you're willing to send a string and receive a translation, I would suggest a compendium (although it is not online). You can find compendia built based on the Debian packages on (I will fix the link on the main page ASAP). I've seen also that you're using the version from stable, I would recommend to use the version from testing. > Please can you forward this to Upstream? I will forward the request for --listen-on.
