That doesn't change the fact that the Debian Policy says

| The description should describe the package (the program) to a user
| (system administrator) who has never met it before so that they have
| enough information to decide whether they want to install it.

The point is that even without insider information, you should have an
idea what the program does. After reading the wikipedia page, I would
suggest something along "software for mixing video sources". While you
are at it, the long description could also be reworded to become more
informative. See also
