I don't understand. That was generated by building on an alpha, which
is not a supported architecture.

  $ egrep '(Source|Package|Arch)' debian/control
  Source: scheme2c
  Package: scheme2c
  Architecture: i386 amd64
  Package: scheme2c-doc
  Architecture: all

Why are you trying to autobuild scheme2c on an anything except i386 or
amd64? It should be possible to

  $ debian/rules binary-indep

and build the documentation package on any platform. However the
architecture-specific package requires some work, albeit not much.

This seems to me like a "wishlist" bug rather than an "important"
one.  Does that sound right?

                                        --Barak.
