After some discussion with Don Armstrong with his BTS hat on, we've
opted for the latter solution - the automagic CC will be reverted in the
next upload.

It sounds like the BTS may (sooner or later) display comments in control
mails in the main log itself but in either case firstly that would be
the right place for the functionality to be implemented and, more to the
point, it means someone else can take the flak for it. ;-)
