Hmmm, since this is a new feature, maybe try to ask upstream about it. You are probably much better in communicating your needs for such a feature than I am (in general for special feature request I would be just a lossy proxy). To do so, first make sure that this topic has not been discussed, by visiting/searching and asking http://forums.mozillazine.org. If you get some backup from the community, try to figure out if such a wish is already posted in http://bugzilla.mozilla.org. If not, maybe open a new wishlist bug in bugzilla.
