Package: reportbug Version: 3.45 Severity: important querybts does not let me provide extra information for a bug report anymore.
How to reproduce: - Run "querybts 418708" - Hit 'q' to quit the pager. Now the prompt says: "What do you want to do now? [N|x|o|r|b|q|?]?" - Hit '?' and [Enter] to see the following: --------- snip ---------- N - (default) Show next message (followup). x - Provide extra information. o - Show other bug reports (return to bug listing). r - Redisplay this message. b - Launch web browser to read full log. q - I'm bored; quit please. ? - Display this help. What do you want to do now? [N|x|o|r|b|q|?]? --------- snip ---------- - Now that we know that 'x' lets us provide extra information, we hit 'x'. Instead of letting us provide extra information, querybts simply quits with exit code 0. Providing extra information used to work in earlier versions, AFAIR. -- Package-specific info: ** Environment settings: DEBEMAIL="[EMAIL PROTECTED]" DEBFULLNAME="Marc-Jano Knopp" INTERFACE="text" ** /home/mjk/.reportbugrc: reportbug_version "3.8" mode standard ui text realname "Marc-Jano Knopp" email "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (900, 'testing'), (700, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.ISO-8859-15, LC_CTYPE=en_US.ISO-8859-15 (charmap=ISO-8859-15) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages reportbug depends on: ii apt 0.7.14+b1 Advanced front-end for dpkg ii python 2.5.2-2 An interactive high-level object-o ii python-central 0.6.8 register and build utility for Pyt reportbug recommends no packages.
