Excellent proposal; of course I didn't expect anything else from
you :).

I will include this in the 0.5-1 release. If you want it to happen
faster, I am happy to see NMUs!

Note that tg-export 0.5 will be able to export patches without
a staging branch, so much of this will be simplified. It's just not
working yet in 0.4.
