The dpkg-deb call may be wrong, it should be either KPKG_DEST_DIR or (much better since the first may be undefined) DEB_DESTDIR, like dh_builddeb --destdir=$(DEB_DESTDIR) But that is not the real problem since it still worked with make-kpkg. > > module-assistant builds modules but when installing them it stops with > > an error message. I have not seen this for a while now, may have something to do with the new dpkg. I can reproduce the problem and will try to fix it ASAP.
