Package: ulogd-mysql
Version: 1.23-8
Severity: wishlist
If ulogd is started and can't establish a connection with MySQL (So far,
this response is observed for bad credentials, and when mysql-client wasn't
installed, although the last may not be relevent), ulogd silently segfaults
leaving only a single line in the syslog and few hints in
/var/log/ulogd/ulogd.log. None of the messages it leaves anywhere indicate
what the problem is.
It would be helpful if ulogd left some helpful messages somewhere to assist
with debugging.
