There's nothing I can see indicating any breakage. This has been going on for a month or so. I finally got tired of trying to deal with Kmail and Balsa, so filed the report. Sorry it's been like this for a while. > It seems that your apt still prefers “oldstable” but you're using > “stable” package. Is your install fully up to date? I don't get that. Here's my apt preferences file: ---------------- Package: * Pin: release a=unstable Pin-Priority: 800 Package: * Pin: release a=stable Pin-Priority: 600 Package: * Pin: release a=experimental Pin-Priority: 500 ----------------- Should I junk this file? I can trash my own config if I learned how to... What would I back up? If I tried to completely purge it leading to a reinstall, what packages would I trash? > > > Should I install evolution-dbg and see what I can get from that? > > If so, where should I look for reports? > > Yeah, maybe that would help. Nothing gets recorded as far as I can tell. For me the editor freezes on new messages as well. :( (again) Kenward -- In a completely rational society, the best of us would aspire to be _teachers_ and the rest of us would have to settle for something less, because passing civilization along from one generation to the next ought to be the highest honor and the highest responsibility anyone could have. - Lee Iacocca -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
