Thanks for the suggestion. ...Frank Lin PIAT proposed something similar (just using Apache redirect instead of symplink) just a few days ago, and was released last night for Debian unstable. So this bugreport is a duplicate of bug#517246 already fixed. :-) Thanks anyway.
