I have taken one of the shortest track from Jean Michelle Jarre - Aero 2004 and uploaded it to this link: http://cid-f308020a5b3deba6.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/.Public/test-aero.dts I think that libxine1-ffmpeg is also responsable, but old package, frozen. I suggest that this file play correctly in Debian, because it plays correctly in: Winamp AC3 Filter Plugin (google it) ffdshow (nightly builds) witch may I say are free source programs, with documentation. I am using Debian GNU/Linux 5.0, kernel 2.6.26-1-686.
