I have an open ITP [1] for udav a plotting tool using MathGL. Since I'm still working on packaging it, and it is quite ready, but I would like to upload the newest version (0.5.1). udav 0.5.1 has a new feature in, to make GIF animations, which on mathgl side was introduced in 1.8.1 (both were released on 4. March). [1] http://bugs.debian.org/510377 So I would like to ask as "wishlist", to package 1.8.1 if possible soon, such that I can try to find a sponsor for the package udav with current version 0.5.1 (instead to going to finish prepare the older 0.5).
