Hi, This bug is still present in lenny.
The issue exists in 2:3.2.5-4lenny2. I then tried to install the version in proposed-updates as suggested in this bug report.. Preparing to replace smbclient 2:3.2.5-4lenny2 (using .../smbclient_2%3a3.2.5-4lenny3_amd64.deb) ...
