It was my first attempt to use reportbug and I found two bugs crashing
it, already filed them, though this one got through first since i forgot
to move the subject line to icedoves subject field, so the report ended
up as junk. Could not file them through bugreport because of bug #530685
We have to avoid crashes, if there are some we have to receive reports
about them, and fix them, not working around them.

I do agree, but crashes occured for three different reasons for me (the
first being fixed by upgrading from 4.2 to 4.4, there was a closed bug
report on that, though I dont know which number), and I found quite some
more reports on crashes, so this seemed quite useful to me.
