Package: msmtp Version: 1.4.16-1 Severity: normal I suppose, that msmtp is the same in Ubuntu as in Debian thus I'm sending the bug report here. I hope that's OK.
After updating msmtp in Ubuntu from Heron to Jaunty, I got this in /etc/msmtprc.ucf-dist. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- account default host mail.sourcepole.ch *** WARNING: ucf was run from a maintainer script that uses debconf, but the script did not pass --debconf-ok to ucf. The maintainer script should be fixed to not stop debconf before calling ucf, and pass it this parameter. For now, ucf will revert to using old-style, non-debconf prompting. Ugh! Please inform the package maintainer about this problem. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- I appreciate not having to use some monster MTA and instead being able to use small and simple msmtp a lot: thanks! *t -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0 APT prefers jaunty-updates APT policy: (500, 'jaunty-updates'), (500, 'jaunty-security'), (500, 'jaunty-backports'), (500, 'jaunty') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.28-11-generic (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_CH.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_CH.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages msmtp depends on: ii debconf [debco 1.5.26ubuntu3 Debian configuration management sy ii libc6 2.9-4ubuntu6 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcomerr2 1.41.4-1ubuntu1 common error description library ii libgcrypt11 1.4.1-2ubuntu1 LGPL Crypto library - runtime libr ii libgnutls26 2.4.2-6 the GNU TLS library - runtime libr ii libgsasl7 0.2.26-2 GNU SASL library ii libidn11 1.10-3 GNU libidn library, implementation ii libkrb53 1.6.dfsg.4~beta1-5ubuntu2 MIT Kerberos runtime libraries ii libntlm0 0.3.13-1 NTLM authentication library ii libtasn1-3 1.5-1 Manage ASN.1 structures (runtime) ii ucf 3.0014 Update Configuration File: preserv ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.3.dfsg-12ubuntu2 compression library - runtime Versions of packages msmtp recommends: ii ca-certificates 20080809 Common CA certificates msmtp suggests no packages. -- debconf information excluded -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
