thank you for maintaining gnome-system-tools. When I go in System/Administration/Time and date, the timezone field is empty. I then click on it, select a timezone, click close (even tried moving to another field first, just to avoid hitting #502135) and if I go to Time and date again, it is again blank. dpkg-reconfigure tzdata instead works perfectly.
