I've just hit the same problem, and wasted some time in figuring out what needs to be installed. If it's too much trouble adding a button to install the package automatically, please at least indicate what package needs to be installed. There are MANY ntp-related packages in Debian, and ntp-simple as indicated elsewhere in this report does not even exist anymore. Just saying "please install the package ntp to enable this feature" would empower any user to figure out what needs to be done. With the current state of things, one who does not know about NTP has to figure out what the hell NTP is in the first place, then figure out what is, practically, "NTP support", then figure out what kind of package would provide the right NTP support for Gnome, then install it. In Gnome, I find this situation rather startling.
