The symlink is there because firebird server and tools look for the security database relative to the 'FB_ROOT', which is /usr/lib/firebird/$VERSION on Debian. > Is there any particular reason for the wrong name? I don't udnerstand what is 'wrong' with the name. Does it cause any problems? -- dam
