I'm running Debian Lenny with LVM2 on Dell Poweredge 2850 and hardware Raid1 I came across similar warnings from the lvcreate/lvremove commands when creating/removing several lvm snapshots in a row. In my case adding 3 second delay between each command stopped lvm from throwing out warnings. Hope this help someone.
