Package: libboost-doc Version: 1.39.2 Severity: wishlist Installing libboost-doc ensures that I always have the latest Boost docs, but they move around with each new Boost version. It would be nice if there was a cross-link to give them a stable name, for instance so that I could have a bookmark to /usr/share/doc/libboost-doc/HTML/libs/libraries.html.
I'd suggest this bookmark: # ln -s ../libboost1.39-doc/HTML /usr/share/doc/libboost-doc/ Thanks, Daniel -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.30-1-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages libboost-doc depends on: ii libboost1.39-doc 1.39.0-5 Boost.org libraries documentation libboost-doc recommends no packages. libboost-doc suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
