You are right, it works now. It returns a message about didnt find DV
header, and redirect dvgrab to stdout show nothing.
At least now I get another error ("dvgrab-007.dv": damaged frame near:
timecode 00:01:43.22 date 2009.10.29 19:39:17
This means that there were missing or invalid FireWire packets.). If
you know the error I apprecciate your help.
I used dvgrab several months ago with the same cam, wire and PC and it
works fine.

2.6.30-1-amd64

First
"dvgrab -frames 0 -size 0 - | ffmpeg -f dv -i - -b 900k video.mov"
Second
"dvgrab -frames 0 -size 0 -" This returned nothing.
I think it starts works when I did the first time "dvgrab -card 0".
> What is the output?
I cant find the exact message. It was something like couldnt get de DV header.
> Did you check the permissions for /dev/fw*?
I execute It as root.
