Briefly - this package is one of those good ideas that hasn't really been followed through. glashctl is a GUI front-end for lashd, which is only relevant to users running a real-time kernel and jackd for multi-app audio set-ups - many of them prefer to use the command-line rather than a GUI which doesn't really work. It really needs someone at debian-multimedia or a dedicated sub-distro such as 64studio to pick it up, so it may be worth pursuing the standard orphaning procedure. However, dropping it might force someone to write a front-end that works, if such a thing is really required. I doubt whether anyone will be that bothered. cheers, tim -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [email protected]
