hi folks! just wanted to say, from a pure user perspective of things, that it's not only exmh depending on metamail, but also and mostly nmh. am i the only one using nmh? i can't read mime messages now on my box (well, yeah: i can use cat :-). to be honest, i'm finding this rather annoying! there should'nt be major packages left broken after removal of an orphaned one, should there? i have no problems using something else, but what? mpack does not what metamail does. do i have do write my own mime handler for nmh now? is metamail really such a hopeless case, so that you have to hold people, who want to adopt it, back? however, thanks for making the best OS in the world and keep the good work up!
