Package: ircii Version: 20030315-1 This package is by default compiled with emacs meta keys support. This causes strange things when typing some characters in Latin2 character set. Those keys can be unbound by a script, but I found it unlogical.
The --with-emacs-meta-keys is not enabled in debian/rules file, but looking at configure,it's on by default unless --without-emacs-meta-keys is given.
