I prepared an amended patch that should fix the bug. I am currently testing it (I am using the patched Sylpheed right now). From my first tests, it seems to work as intended (please take a look at the "From " at the beginning of the line and how it is represented in quoted-printable encoding!). I'll do some more testing in the next days: if I do not spot any problems, I'll send the patch here, so that it can be applied to the Debian package and forwarded upstream.
