Mmmmmm maybe qemu or some virtualization tool, when the guest resizes its display ? Though I'm not sure they'd do it the same way iceweasel does it. > You mentioned something about a window class. I think changing the name in /usr/lib/iceweasel/application.ini should be enough (check with xprop).
