The Depends you are mentioning are from 0.9.3-1. $ dpkg-deb -I tortoisehg_0.9.3-2_all.deb [...] Depends: mercurial (>= 1.4), python-gobject (>= 2.12.1), python-gtk2 (>= 2.10), python-cairo, python (>= 2.4), python-support (>= 0.90.0) The problem should be fixed, as far as I can tell... > so the problem it's not fixed. Also, in the bug report, it was not > written '>= 2.4'. Use 'all' or '>= 2.5' in an updated chroot (where > both 2.5 and 2.6 are present, since both supported). The bug report was saying: "[...] *for example* by setting `XS-Python-Version' either to `>> 2.4' or `all'." What's wrong with ">= 2.4", given that upstream wants to keep supporting Python 2.4? I thought it would simplify backporting. Does it cause any harm? Thanks, Ludovico -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
