Package: dmsetup Version: 2:1.02.39-1 Severity: normal File: /usr/share/doc/dmsetup/README.udev
Hi, README.udev contains: * DM_HIDE Set to 1 to not even try to extract filesystem information and set links in /dev/disk according to that information. >From what I know, this information is outdated. In the last release of dmsetup, I can't find DM_HIDE in the udev rules file, but only DM_UDEV_DISABLE_OTHER_RULES_FLAG and DM_UDEV_DISABLE_DISK_RULES_FLAG. cheers, Michael -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.33 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages dmsetup depends on: ii libc6 2.10.2-6 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libdevmapper1.02.1 2:1.02.39-1 The Linux Kernel Device Mapper use ii udev 151-2 /dev/ and hotplug management daemo ii util-linux 2.16.2-0 Miscellaneous system utilities dmsetup recommends no packages. dmsetup suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
