No, I had not (but now I do) (because the bug was closed). As Christine
said, "I do still think that white-on-black is a better default
than black-on-white, but it _is_ your software and you can
do what you like with it" :)

I use gnome-screensaver.

Several screensavers from the xscreensaver used to correspond to
multiple choice, but it looks that it is no more the case. Thus I
support your choice of not shipping several desktop files.
