Thanks for your valuable information.

I'm pondering doing that update, being in favor of it myself.

We made many updates to samba in Lenny that are not security-related
and that one would qualify for an upload in s-p-u, imho.

Objections from other team members?


(there are other updates that I'd like to be able to include,
particularly those related to ACL handling with Excel....that made me
switch a Lenny production server from our 3.2.5 packages to
3.2.15.....but I need help in backporting the patches to 3.2.5)
