I never realised the existence of this combo box before :~) When I double-click now on a song, it is indeed appended to the queue, but the currently played song is stopped in the same, which is probably not intended, right?
This two-step process can be unintuitive for users and upstream is considering how best to make it more obvious. Nevertheless, I think it's working as designed.
