Package: kupfer Version: 0+v201-1 Severity: normal Tags: upstream kupfer does not stay in the middle of the screen.
* startup kupfer * activate it by typing C-Space * kupfer dialog appears in the middle of the screen * (mark the position of the dialog e. g. by moving a window to dialog's border) * ESC (deactivate kupfer) * activate it again by typing C-Space - dialog should appear at the same position - but it appears some pixels above the old position (10px or so). With every reactiviation it walks up 10px up This wrong behaviour cannot be found with version 0+v200-1. Looks like upstream bug #417278 but in my case it is moving up and I am using metacity with activated compositingi (not compiz). Additional I run devilspie with this script (from upstream documentation link): (if (is (window_name) "Kupfer") (begin ; Remove from taskbar and pager (skip_pager) (skip_tasklist) ; Pretty it up a bit, center it in the screen and ; place it above other windows so it doesn't get lost (undecorate) (opacity 93) (above) ) ) -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages kupfer depends on: ii dbus 1.2.24-1 simple interprocess messaging syst ii python-dbus 0.83.1-1 simple interprocess messaging syst ii python-gobject 2.21.1-2 Python bindings for the GObject li ii python-gtk2 2.17.0-2 Python bindings for the GTK+ widge ii python-keybinder 0.2.2-1 registers global key bindings for ii python-keyring 0.2-3 store and access your passwords sa ii python-support 1.0.9 automated rebuilding support for P ii python-xdg 0.19-2 Python library to access freedeskt ii python2.6 2.6.5+20100630-2 An interactive high-level object-o Versions of packages kupfer recommends: ii python-gnome2 2.28.1-1 Python bindings for the GNOME desk ii python-wnck 2.30.0-1+b1 Python bindings for the WNCK libra Versions of packages kupfer suggests: ii python-cjson 1.0.5-2+b1 Very fast JSON encoder/decoder for ii python-nautilus 0.6.1-1+b1 Python binding for Nautilus compon -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
