For some reason I assumed that this issue is known to cdbs users for
years. If this is not the case, please mention it in the docs at a
prominent place.
There is a workaround: include m-a makefile snippets first, then
include CDBS, and then use the alternative variable documented in
/usr/share/doc/module-assistant/HOWTO-DEVEL.gz to specify m-a output.
