As far as I can tell, it can be upgraded to OAuth, and I could do it. But we are blocked by #581601 which is the library that is need for C OAuth unless I program the entire thing from scratch (Something I won't be doing, sorry ;)
That ITP hasn't been acted on in over 3 months.. So we either wait or someone must hijack it? Either way, I highly doubt we can get a new package of this sorts in before squeeze goes stable AND make the necessary modifications to Twitux. So I think we should go ahead and have Twitux held from squeeze, but lets not go and remove it entirely. Thanks, -- Luke Cycon <lcy...@gmail.com>
