You may try to run my tests.  I compile linux kernel 2.6.9 from
kernel.org, not from Debian, with a special config, that compiles everything
in the kernel that don't generate a gcc warning ou error.  The twist
is that I add the switch "-j35" when I do the compilation, it means 35
gcc running at same time.  With the sources on the local disks, it's a
good way to test the hardware.
