Those users have not complained for more than 2 years including the Lenny
release... IMO the vast majority of users have adapted their code to the
way the module works.

If you take over uptsream maintenance of libconfig-simple-perl and ensure
that all distributions have the same behaviour with that module, sure.
Otherwise I don't think it's reasonable to have a Debian specific
behaviour...

And it's just too late for sid/squeeze IMO anyway.
