The geresh package upstream didn't release a new version in 6 years. Although it lived well in debian in that time, and got a few patches. The package now FTBFS due the fribidi change and the removal of the fribidi-config utility. I think it's a good time to remove this package from Debian as it's quite old and not in a commons use.
