Package: mpdscribble
Version: 0.19-1
When starting mpdscribble, it appears to send the "now playing"
notification constantly, up to thousands of times per second. I'm not
sure if I have something misconfigured, but I tried purging and
reinstalling the package and still get that result. I'm running it as
the system service (set up via dpkg-reconfigure), and last.fm is the
only scrobbler I have configured.
A sample from the beginning of its log (set to --verbose 3):

Repeated similarly for tens of thousands of lines until I killed the
process.
