Hi Roland, how are you? Dict-server (dictd) runs fine on my installation and I use it a lot. As soon as I upgraded to version 1.4.1 of dict-de-en dictd does not start any more. :-( Removing dict-de-en from the dict-server's configuration solves the problem. Thus I removed the package - voila, dictd starts up again. BTW, ding, which uses trans-de-en - AFAIK based on the same data works fine.
