I verified it manually after bisecting and indeed, the revision before 1430217e1919801fa6418c36589cc4360e5f1779 works and with 1430217e1919801fa6418c36589cc4360e5f1779 applied it doesn't any more.

I had a look at the patch but I can't see anything particular that stands out as problematic, apart from doing some x/y coordinate changing and recalculations.

Shall I talk to upstream (mailing list), and/or Nicolas Martin and/or Christian Scholtz?
